The Estimate of Giving card is a little different this year than it has been in the past.  Below is an example of the inside of that card.  This year we are naming the card an Estimate of Service card.  We want to give you an opportunity to respond to God’s call on your life with more than your money.  The Estimate of Service card provides you an opportunity to be involved in the ministries of our church by your Prayers, Presence, Gifts and Service.  You will note that an opportunity is given for you to request help if you wish to learn more about prayer.  If you would like to be a part of our Prayer Team, there is a place to note that interest.  Our Prayer Team has made a covenant to lift in prayer the needs of our congregation that are not requested to be held in confidentiality among the clergy.  There is an opportunity for you to suggest new services, studies, and ministries that you think should be added to our present offerings.  If you would like to have more information about a particular ministry, that opportunity is provided. 
Please remember that your estimate of giving is not a pledge but an estimate.  It can be changed at any time, but we request that you notify our Business Office so we can make the necessary financial adjustments.  What we do in mission and ministry next year will be determined by the financial support of our congregation.  Toward the end of our worship service on February 10, you will be able to bring the Estimate of Service card that will be in your bulletin and present it before God on our altar rail.  The Business Office will mail out Estimate of Service cards to those who were unable to attend on February 10.  I thank you for your faithfulness in 2007 and believe that 2008 will be a great year as well!
