Mothers Day Out Teachers

Ahktar Ahmad

Akhtar has been with Chapel Hill since 1994. She has mostly worked with two year olds, but has also worked with 4 year olds. Akhtar says her favorite thing about working at Chapel Hill is being with the sweet and loving children.

Amber Anderson

Amber has been with Chapel Hill since July 2005. Amber has mostly worked with Toddlers. Amber is currently attending the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. Amber says her favorite thing about working at Chapel Hill is the children.

Ali Barnes

Ali has been with Chapel Hill since August 2005. Ali has mostly worked with Toddlers. Ali says her favorite thing about working with Chapel Hill is the children and the staff.

Laura Dunn

Laura has been with Chapel Hill since July 2002. Laura has mainly worked with three and four year olds, but also works with Toddlers. Laura attended Southwestern Oklahoma State and majored in Early Childhood Education. Laura says her favorite thing about working at Chapel Hill is the children, families, and friends.

Linda has been with Chapel Hill since June 2002. Linda has mostly worked with two and three year olds, but also works with 1 ½ to two year olds. Linda says her favorite thing about working at Chapel Hill is playing with the children.

Rebecca has been with Chapel Hill since February 2004. Rebecca has worked mostly with three and four year olds. Rebecca says her favorite thing about working at Chapel Hill is the children and the parents.

Marie Pena

Marie has been with Chapel Hill since November 2005. Marie has worked mostly with two and three year olds, but has also worked with infants. Marie says her favorite thing about working at Chapel Hill are doing crafts with the children, and watching them play with each other.

De Schmidt

De has been with Chapel Hill since September 1984. De has mostly worked with two and three year olds, but has experience in working with all ages. De says her favorite thing about working at Chapel Hill is the wonderful atmosphere that the sweet children get to experience, the smiles, the hugs from the children, and the staff friendships.

Teresa has been with Chapel Hill since August 1997. Teresa has mostly worked with infants, but has experience with all ages. Teresa says her favorite thing about working at Chapel Hill is making the children smile.

Nidia Wenneman

Nidia has been with Chapel Hill since February 2007. She has worked mostly with three and four year olds, but also has experience with infants and toddlers. Nidia attended college in Columbia, and majored in nursing. Nidia says her favorite thing about working at Chapel Hill is the children.

Gazelle Zonooz

Gazelle has been with Chapel Hill since January 2007. Gazelle has mostly worked with Toddlers, but has experience with two year olds. Gazelle says her favorite thing about working at Chapel Hill is the loving children and the friendly environment.

Carrie Poe

Carrie has been with Chapel Hill since February 2004. Carrie attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. Carrie graduated in July 1987 with her Bachelor's in Child Development. Carrie says her favorite thing about working at Chapel Hill is watching the children learn and get excited when they learn something new.

Ana Reynolds

Ana has been with Chapel Hill since August 2006. She began as the Music Teacher, and has recently moved to teach Preschool. Ana holds a Bachelor's degree in Child Development from the University of Central Oklahoma, which she received in December 2006. She is currently working toward her Master's degree in Family Life Education. Ana says her favorite thing about working at Chapel Hill is the children she gets to spend her day with!

Audra Smalley

Audra has been with Chapel Hill since July 2005. Audra has worked mostly with three and four year olds, but has also worked with Toddlers. Audra says her favorite thing about working at Chapel Hill is seeing the children’s smiles.

Julie Hearon

Julie has been with Chapel Hill since February 2002. Julie has mostly worked with infants, and is currently the Mother’s Day Out/Preschool Assistant Director. Julie has had a degree in "Mommy 101" since August 2001. Julie says her favorite thing about working at Chapel Hill is all the sweet faces she sees.

Lindsay Fain

Lindsay has been with Chapel Hill since January 2006. She spends a majority of her time with the families and teachers, but also spends time in the classrooms with the children. She received her Master's degree in Family and Child Studies in May 2006. Lindsay says her favorite thing about working at Chapel Hill is getting to work with a team of people who are as passionate about children as she is!
