Mom's Bible Study (Thursday mornings in Great Hall Room #3 from 9:30 to 11:00) has begun our new fall study; "Growing Together: Growing a Child = Growing A Mom" by Linda Schultz Anderson. This is a 12-week DVD/Workbook study that walks us through a number of topics under the categories of Personal Growth, Partnering Growth, Parenting Growth and Parenting Power.

Linda is a wonderful speaker and an excellent biblical teacher who truly speaks to everyone on their own level. All moms are invited to attend Mom's Bible Study at any time and there is no need to be a member of Chapel Hill to attend. Onsite childcare is available during our study time for preschool aged children.

In addition, we are also using "Fruit of the Spirit; A Bible Study Project for Women's Groups" by Sherri Harris. This is a study in which we scrapbook the Fruits of the Spirit, satisfying our creative AND praise urges!

As a group, Mom's Bible Study participants meet the first Monday of the month at a local eatery for dinner. There is also a Craft Night at a participant's home the second Friday of the month where anyone can bring any craft they might be working on, gnosh on snacks and gab.
